There is so much pressure to deliver ‘the perfect pitch’ that is it any wonder it is a leading cause of stress for many people in business? Anxiety can not only disrupt life in the lead up to the day, but can also have a huge impact on the effectiveness of the pitch itself.
Our Successful Pitching course is for small groups (6 – 8) and is structured as a half day workshop that has a strong practical edge to it. Popular with clients across legal property and finance industries, course sessions integrate video examples and a mock pitch exercises to focus attentions.
While the majority of people will experience some type of pitch anxiety, whether it be the ubiquitous flutter of butterflies in the stomach, sweaty palms or the feeling of nausea, there are lessons to be learnt that will give you more control when it comes to delivering a successful pitch.
Aside from the physical process of pitching, there are common pitfalls to be avoided in relation to style, content and communication. We are bombarded by information in the modern workplace, so owning the room and knowing how to make your message stand out is crucial.
Planning and preparation are two key elements when it comes to successful pitching. The third element, and one that is often overlooked, is practice. We will facilitate your pitch training under ‘live conditions’ and provide practical and impartial feedback to ensure that individuals and team members perform at maximum potential.
